When people say "your hair looks so nice today! Did you do something different with it? I really like it!"

The truthful answer, every single time, is "I haven't washed it in 3 days."

Apparently greasy unwashed hair looks good on me?

Some people's hair just does better if it's not washed as frequently! Not mine, mine looks awful if I don't wash it. But if yours is that type, you should just wash it less often or something!

The thing is, to me, it doesn't look good. I think it looks stringy and greasy. Today, when my hair was freshly washed and behaving itself because it's not humid and it even had a nice bit of curl, no one had anything to say. Last week when I had been sick for a week and a half and my hair felt gross, several people told me how nice it looked

*giggles*. people are weird, thats for sure. some days my hair does look better three days unwashed. some days it looks icky three days unwashed.

My sister is the same. Her hair looks really full and good on the third day. It looks awful on the second day though. Weird.
